For around 600 years, the city of Gloucester in England has been holding its annual Cheese Rolling Contest!
Contestants stand at the top of a steep 200-yd. hill and the race begins when a 7 lb. Double Gloucester cheese wheel gets rolled down the hill.
That's where the the fun begins!
I remember an episode of The Amazing Race where they did this kind of thing!
And to me, this is just as crazy as the Running with the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain because injuries can happen!
By the way, congrats to men's champion cheese chaser, Chris Anderson, who won his 23rd race, and to Abby Lampe from North Carolina who won the women's division! U-S-A...U-S-A...U.S.A!
