I love the Cape Cod Rail Trail!
Like the Cape Cod Baseball League, I think it is one of those hidden jewels that Cape Codders don't take advantage of as much as they should!
After they built the extension all the way to exit 7 with that beautiful bridge over Station Ave., I've been waiting for them to keep it moving west!
Well, the project has now entered phase 3! The plans for this phase will bring the Rail Trail through Yarmouth at Higgins Crowell Rd. to Mary Dunn Rd. in Barnstable, with access at the intersection of Independence Dr.!
Plus, they'll build a parking area at the entrance to the trail at Mary Dunn Rd. for easy access!
