Supermarket chain, Stop & Shop has come up with a very creative idea to help the older crowd feel a little safer while doing their grocery shopping.
They have decided to open early every morning from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. for just the 60+ crowd!
The company says they came up with this idea because its been proven that the Coronavirus is especially contagious to that age group...and they want them to feel a little more comfortable while they move around the store.
I think this is a pretty good idea!
However, rubbing it in that you are in that age group and can shop earlier and get what you need first to your family & friends that are younger than you is out of bounds!
This is especially targeted to my friend Pete...who texted me to gloat the minute he found out about it!
By the way, the new early hours start this Thursday. And, the company says they will not be checking ID's at the store...it's all being done through the honor system!
