What would you say if someone asked you, "What are the worst intersections on the Cape?"
I'm sure, like me, there are a handful that come to your mind right away.
For me, I think of...
- Rt.28 and any of the shopping plazas in Centerville,
- The lights at Rt.28 & Yarmouth Rd. in Hyannis
- Phinneys Ln. & Old Strawberry Rd. in Centerville
- Cotuit Rd. & Quaker Meeting House Rd. in Sandwich
And that's just after thinking for a minute!
Well the Cape Cod Commission used traffic data to rank the 50 Worst Intersections on Cape Cod.
And, the Cape Cod Times put together a great photo gallery with a map of each of the spots that were named! I'm sure you're going to go through these pictures and agree with just about all of them!
So, now that we have data showing us where the bad spots are...maybe we can try and do a better job when we drive through them!
