Meet Dude!
Dude is a 10 month old male domestic longhair kitten currently looking for his new home at ARL.
There’s a wonderful, loving cat inside of Dude, he just needs some help in the confidence department!
Dude is very fearful and does have the tendency to hide. It typically takes about 15-20 minutes for Dude to approach so it will be vital for his new family to go slow and allow him to settle in at his own pace. While he may be fearful, once he does trust you he is everything you’d want in a cat – he’s friendly, a purr machine and likes to be pet – again, it’s just going to take some time to get to that stage.
Dude’s ideal home would be a quiet, adult only home and while we think that a dog in the home would be too much for him, he may be able to live with another cat – especially if the other cat would help Dude with his confidence and become more comfortable in his surroundings.
