Disney has revealed its first LGBTQ animated character, but some are not happy with it.
The new film Onward, featuring the voices of Chris Pratt and Tom Holland, includes the first “self-identified” lesbian character in the Disney-Pixar universe. Officer Specter is a Cyclops cop voiced by openly gay actress Lena Waithe.
According to the HuffPost, the new character has a breif camo in the movie and talks about her ex girlfoiend who is not shown in the movie.
Twitter users also had an issue with the character being a cyclops, on user Gideon Glick Tweeted, "Let’s be honest, this is how straight people see us anyway."
