This Halloween Pumpkin Needs a Parental Advisory 😂🎃

You buy a talking pumpkin expecting a few spooky jokes. Maybe a little “BOO!”

You do not expect it to start working on its late-night dating profile.

But here we are.

A mom on TikTok is warning parents about Jabberin’ Jack, an animated pumpkin decoration with a song that’s a little more after the kids go to bed than bring the kids over for candy.

According to USA Today, her video drew more than a million views. The song includes suggestive lines about spending the night together and an invitation involving pumpkin seeds that I’m going to let you investigate on your own.

Sir. You are a pumpkin. This is a front porch.

The mom says her goal was to give parents a heads-up so they could decide whether they wanted it in their homes.

Fair enough. Nobody wants to explain the flirty pumpkin while trying to get a toddler into a dinosaur costume.

The company’s response? The song was intended to be humorous. But its founder acknowledged that children would likely hear it and that families could find it inappropriate. The company says it can’t remove the song from existing units, but plans to replace it in future versions.

And yes, Jabberin’ Jack is a decoration, not a toy. It’s also marketed for trick-or-treating. You can see where parents might expect the entertainment to be kid-friendly.

My take? Give this thing a private audition before it headlines your porch. Same way you check the candy, maybe check the pumpkin’s set list.

Would you laugh and keep it—or would Jack be going right back in the box?
