Independence House

The Independence House is celebrating it's 40th Anniversary here on Cape Cod!

It is one of our community's most trusted and respected local organizations. And though you may be aware of the basic mission of the Independence House, which is to give help to victims of domestic violence, sexual violence and child sexual abuse, you may not know about some of the other programs and services they provide to help our Cape Cod community, including help for people affected by homicide and their programs that try to create a culture and environment free from violence and intimidation.

Kevin Matthews invited the executive director of The Independence House, Lysetta Herge-Putnam and the director of development and marketing, Donna Giberti into the studio for a quick refresher of all of the work that they do...and to talk about some fun events on the agenda that will help generate some much needed support and funding for the program.
