John. F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum

The mission of the John F. Kennedy Museum on Main St. in Hyannis is to preserve and promote the legacy of John F. Kennedy, his family and their connection to Cape Cod.

The reason the museum is so special is that while it presents the "world view" of JFK, his presidency and it's milestones...it focuses on the man and his real-life connections to Cape Cod, specifically Hyannis Port.

The museum constantly creates new exhibits to present fresh content and perspectives into President Kennedy's legacy. And another one of those exhibits will open to the public on Monday, June 17th.

In today's episode of Spectrum, Kevin Matthews welcomes the President & CEO of the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum, John Allen to discuss the new exhibit, "Cape Cod Remembers JFK, Jr.", which to coincide with 20th anniversary of his passing.

"He captured our hearts as a little boy and later intrigued as an adult visiting the family compound in Hyannis Port. This exhibit is a rare opportunity for visitors to see never-before-seen images and video of JFK Jr." - John Allen, President & CEO of the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum
