Watch: Woman Bursts Into Laughter In The Middle Of Court When Judge Reads Her Parking Ticket Out Loud

Fighting a ticket in traffic court doesn’t have the reputation for being funny.

A Rhode Island woman named Sarah had to appear in court in December because she was ticketed for parking in a place where parking was forbidden between 8 to 10 a.m. ― two seconds before 10 a.m.

The court case was filmed for posterity for “Caught In Providence,” a courtroom TV shows airing weekends on local ABC affiliate WLNE.

Sarah explained that her car clock in her car said it was 10:00 a.m. when she tried to park in the spot that was a no parking zone from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. The ticket, however, said she had stopped in the parking spot at 9:59:58 a.m., two seconds before she was legally allowed to park there.
