I read an article in USA Today that I wanted to pass along because it may protect you from scammers that may try and use this technique to take some of your hard-earned money!
Call it the curse of 2020! The way you write this year on any kind of documents is VERY important, because it could be used against you by someone who could easily manipulate it to benefit them.
For example, say you made some kind of agreements to make payments on something...and at the end of the document, you entered the date as: 1/31/20.
Well, with two well placed digits, that date could easily be changed to 1/31/2019, for example. You can see how that's going to turn out!
