Their Are Only 4 Teams Left In The 2019 CCBL Playoffs!

So earlier this year, I hosted an episode of our public affairs show, Spectrum, that was a preview of the 2019 Cape Cod Baseball League season!

One of my guests in studio that day, was the newly-elected commissioner of the Cape Cod Baseball League, Eric Zmuda. Eric became involved with the Falmouth Commodores organization as a board member in 2012 and was the GM of the the Commodores before being named commissioner of the CCBL.

During the conversation, I mentioned that the Falmouth team had been waiting the longest to win a CCBL championship, as the last title they won was in 1980...39 years ago! I told Eric that since he came on the show, maybe we would be his good luck charm this year!

Well, they're almost there...as the division finals are now set!

The Falmouth Commodores will welcome the Cotuit Kettleers tonight at 6 p.m. game 1 of the West Division Finals.

Earlier in the day, the Harwich Mariners will go on the road to play the Y-D Red Sox in game 1 of the East Division Finals at 4 p.m.

Good Luck to all of the teams! And remember, Eric, if Falmouth wins...you owe me LOL!
