Who is going to win American Idol?!
I have always been the biggest fan of American Idol! I know there are a lot of people who haven fallen off the band wagon during its 17 seasons, and I know that not all of the finale winners have become music icons...but it is by far the greatest talent competition in music history!
And for all you fans of "The Voice" who disagree, how does this lineup hit you: Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Adam Lambert, Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson, Clay Aiken & Scotty Creamery (big on the Country charts), Reuben Studdard and that's just a handful...I mean, what show can top that?!
Anyway, as a long time fan, I think that next week's finale between Alejandro Aranda, Laine Hardy & Madison Vandenburg is quite possibly the greatest in Idol history!
Laine not only has the talent and the gravelly voice that is so unique, but he has the look of a star!
Madison has reminded me of Kelly Clarkson since her first audition! She has the best pure voice of the final 3...and she is only 17! It's crazy!!
And, for my money, Alejandro could be one of the most pure artists I have ever heard! Not only is his voice haunting and captivating, but his mastery on the guitar & piano and his songwriting skills are unmatched by anyone who has ever graced the Idol stage! It was either Lionel or Luke who said he could just the face of music today..and I think I agree with that statement!
So, who is going to win it all and become the next American Idol?! I am so TORN! I personally like Alejandro the best...but I think, by a razor-thin margin, America will go with Madison!
