This has got to be one of the most heart-wrenching stories I've seen in a while!
Not only is it terrifying enough that a one-year-old little girl in Falmouth sustained life-threatening injuries after an attack by the family's pet pit bull yesterday morning.
But then you add to that the fact that to stop the attack, the girl's father had to stab their pet dog to death with a knife in front of all watching!
I just don't know if I would ever be able to get that scene out of my head!
I used to think that the problem with pit bull was not the dogs...but their owners. Now, I'm not sure anymore!
Now, I'm not saying we should kill all pit bulls today! That's cruel and inhumane! But, maybe we should consider whether it would be best for society to not let them reproduce so that the breed would eventually die out.
I don't know...what do you think?!
