Happy Baseball Fans Day! I was a big one for over 50 years....

Once upon a time in a land far, far away i was one of the biggest baseball fans you could find. \

My family played the game... I played hardball here on the Cape into my 50's but sadly my passion for the game has dissipated over the uyears.

Baseball was Americas great national past time and the key phrase is 'was' ....

I, like many before me, played sandlot ball, played organized ball and was once - along with Lynn - were the co-GM's of the once Orleans Cardinals of the Cape Cod Baseball League...

The game is changing - the fan base like me is old and everything from monster contracts to cheating has pulled me away from the game...

The baseball card era is dead too and that's disappointing to all ages....

If you still feel the passion for the game that i did when i was a ten year old hitting foul balls off an 85 foot cliff above the ocean in North Truro then good for you... I'm happy you feel it and hope you always will....

Here's a photo look through my life and love for the game as i knew it...
