It happens to everyone at some point; one of your friends overindulges, and you offer to drive them home. This was the case for me Saturday night. My friend and her boyfriend pointed me at her vehicle, and we got in. I pressed the button, and the car wouldn't start. I then wait for her to dig the fob out of the bottom of her purse.
I grab the fob, and I press start...the car will not start, and now I don't know what to do. I thought maybe it is low on batteries and then I thought to myself, wait this thing is RFID it should just work. I pass the key to "boyfriend," and he remembers there is an actual key...then I realize there is no ignition to put the key in.
Long story short...The boyfriend gets out of the car to inspect the car and the key and presses the lock/unlock button, you then see 30 yards away the lights go on and off in another car.
WE WERE IN THE WRONG CAR
I have never run from a vehicle so fast in my life!
A couple of things here:
Please LOCK your vehicle up when you park it in a lot
I apologize if you found your seat adjusted and a lei in your car...it was me, and I didn't take anything
