Two people are dead following a fire at a multi-family home in Acushnet.
The fire was reported at around two a.m. yesterday at the home on Garfield Street.
Arriving crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the large building, and learned that three people were unaccounted for.
Once they were able to make entry, an unidentified man and woman in their 80s were found dead in one of the units.
The third person that was unaccounted for was later determined to be out of the country.
