Folks on Nantucket will soon have a chance to sound off on an impending offshore wind project that has officials worried about its potential impact on the island.
The Select Board doesn't think the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management is giving Nantucket enough consideration to counter the effects a 147-turbine wind farm might have on the community.
A public forum on the topic is scheduled for 5:00 Tuesday afternoon at the Public Safety Facility.
