Meet Skye!
Skye is a beautiful 3 year old. Skye is a bit shy and it takes her a little while to adjust to new environments. She loves to be around other dogs and this really helps her to come out of her shell! For this reason, she would do best in a home with another, friendly, role model dog. Since handling can be nerve wracking for her at times Skye will need an owner who feels comfortable reading dog body language. She would do best in a home with no young children.
Like many huskies Skye has a history of escaping! In her new home, her family should keep her active so that she has a safe and controlled way to burn energy. She loves to play ball and do zoomies in her yard. A fenced in yard, while not required, would be a huge plus for Skye! In addition to physical activity, Skye should be kept mentally stimulated. She is a very smart girl and enjoys learning new tricks in exchange for her favorite treats-cheese and hot dogs!
This animal is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team.

The Animal Rescue League of Boston is currently operating by appointment only Tuesday-Sunday 11am-4pm. Our Adoption Forward process will start with a phone conversation.
