Pet Of The Week: Willa

Kevin & Mike Defina from the Animal Rescue League of Boston's Brewster Campus are trying to find a forever home for this week's Pet of The Week...Willa!

Willa is a young calico with lots of calico attitude and a little extra spunk thrown in for good measure. Once she has settled in you will see Willa's lovable side. She can be a very calm and curious lady when she is in her element. She likes to be petted on her terms, and often prefers to rub against your legs (or face in bed) rather than being petted too much. Her favorite place to cuddle is right on the bed with you. She also can be a spitfire in new environments and it takes her a little while to settle down.

A relaxed adult only home will be best for Willa. Also we require she be the only pet in the home as she doesn't like other cats and not fond of dogs. When she is stressed, Willa can get inflammation in her urinary tract. She is eating a prescription diet to help with this. She also has been known to urinate on the bed when stressed. Being an only pet will help reduce her stress level.

If you're looking for a feisty feline to keep you on your toes, Willa would love to meet you!

If you are interested in Willa please fill out our inquiry form below. She is located at the Cape Cod branch of the Animal Rescue League and will require two visits before she can go home so that she can get used to her new family.
