State officials are confirming the Blue Green Algae in several ponds in the area.
Among them Mares and Deep Pond in Falmouth, Long Pond in Marstons Mills and Walkers and Cliff Pond in Brewster.
Officials say it’s a combination of warmer water temps and runoff from fertilizers and septic systems that is the issue.
