Barnstable Town Council Votes On Pumping Station Tomorrow

The Barnstable Town Council will be asked to approve the sale of about a third of an acre on Main Street to be used for underground pipes for a pumping station.

Councilors say they are struggling with the issue because quality of drinking water is at stake versus the concerns of a relatively few number of people.

Councilors get the question tomorrow night.
