Cape Cod & the Islands are lining up some big events for the 4th of July this year...and the celebration of our country's 243rd birthday!
And to help you get your holiday plans together, here is a list of all of the different parades and fireworks celebrations planned so far...
PARADES:
- Barnstable Village/West Barnstable Parade - Thursday, July 4th
The parade begins at 9 a.m. at the County Complex and goes down Rt. 6A. then down Millway
- Bourne Parade - Thursday, July 4th
Begins at 10 a.m. and runs right along Main St. in Buzzards Bay.
- Centerville Parade - Thursday, July 4th
Kicks off at 10 a.m. from the Centerville Elementary School and finishes up at the Centerville Recreation Building.
- Chatham Parade - Thursday, July 4th
The parade starts at 9:30 a.m. on goes right down Main St.
- Cotuit Parade - Thursday, July 4th
The parade starts at 11 a.m. at the Post Office and proceeds to the Cotuit Elementary School.
- Edgartown Parade - Thursday, July 4th
The parade kicks off at 5 p.m.
- Falmouth Parade - Thursday, July 4th
The parade starts at 10 a.m. and goes from the Village Green to Peg Noonan Park.
- Hyannis Harbor Boat Parade - Thursday, July 4th
It starts at 2 p.m. and the place place to watch this parade is on Ocean St. in Hyannis.
- Hyannisport Parade - Thursday, July 4th
The parade starts at 11 a.m. at the Hyannisport Post Office and wraps up at the West Beach Club.
- Hyannis Main St. Parade - Thursday, July 4th
It starts at 4 p.m. and goes from the corner of Ocean St. and travels on Main St. down to Sea St.
- Nantucket Parade - Thursday, July 4th
The parade starts at 10 a.m. on goes right along Main St.
- Provincetown Parade - Thursday, July 4th
The parade starts at 11 a.m. from East End, Harbor Hotel right down Commercial St.
- Sandwich Parade - Thursday, July 4th
Starts at 10 a.m. at the Henry T. Wing School.
- Sandwich Illuminated Boat Parade - Thursday, July 4th
Held in Shawmee Pond at 9 p.m.
- Wellfleet Parade - Thursday, July 4th
Begins at 9:30 a.m. and starts at runs along Main St. to the Town Pier.
- Woods Hole Parade - Thursday, July 4th
Starts at Noon and goes right down Water St.
FIREWORKS:
- Barnstable/Hyannis Fireworks - Thursday, July 4th
There will be a free live concert at Aselton Park in Hyannis by Anna and the Moderns beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed by fireworks off Lewis Bay at dusk.
- Edgartown Fireworks - Thursday, July 4th
The fireworks start at dusk off Edgartown Harbor
- Falmouth Fireworks - Thursday, July 4th
The fireworks start at dusk off Falmouth Heights Beach.
- Mashpee Fireworks - Monday, July 1st
The community picnic starts at 5 p.m. at Mashpee High School, with the fireworks staring around 8:45 p.m.
- Nantucket Fireworks - Friday, July 5th
The fireworks start at 9 p.m. at Jetties Beach
- Orleans Fireworks - Saturday, July 6th
The fireworks will start at dusk (between 8:30 p.m. & 9:15 p.m.) at Rock Harbor.
- Provincetown Fireworks - Thursday, July 4th
Fireworks will start at dusk right over Provincetown Harbor.
- Sandwich Fireworks - Thursday, July 4th
Set to go off at 9:30 p.m. right over Shawmee Pond.
