The Veranda House, a 17th century hotel on Nantucket, and two buildings next to it are a complete loss toda after a huge, early morning fire early on Saturday morning.
And, due to quick, heroic actions from an off-duty captain and a couple of good samaritans, all guests in the hotel were able to escape the flames without harm!
