Provincetown Carnival Celebrates Monsters, Myths & Legends (PHOTOS)

Thousands flocked to the Provincetown on Thursday (August 18) from across the country, filling the streets of Provincetown in a radiant rainbow of creative costumes and original outfits.

The theme of the year is "Monsters, Myths & Legends." From Medusa to Elton John, revelers donned festive costumes inspired by pop culture icons.

The Cape's Best Music station 106 WCOD broadcast live from the Crown & Anchor and captured every moment of the celebration.
